Alloy with a reduced content of carbon, universally recognised for its hygienic characteristics and excellent resistance to corrosion, particularly suitable for outdoor environments. Thanks to its chemical composition, stainless steel does not oxidize or rust in contact with external agents such as water and air. The natural protective film that stainless steel develops makes the material durable and restorable. CEADESIGN products are entirely manufactured using mechanical processes that preserve the alloy's unique properties. The stainless steel used for CEADESIGN production is not chrome-plated or galvanically treated, preserving the features of an ecological, fully recyclable and highly hygienic product.

Special finishes are made on customer request and result from a careful chromatic selection and technological process based on the deposition of zirconium and graphite powder mixtures. Via an evaporation process in vacuum (plasma) the powders transition from vapor to a thin condensed film. This makes the steel surface more resistant to cleaning agents and salty air and improves scratch resistance. In the Black Diamond finish the surface is additionally protected from limescale due to a self-lubricating property that helps keep the product cleaner for longer. CEADESIGN special finishes enhance stainless steel properties by increasing surface gloss and hardness. All CEADESIGN special finishes are ecological and biocompatible.

Color and tone variations are not manufacturing defects but are linked to the production process that preserves the material's biocompatibility and ecological character. Chromatic variations, especially in BRONZE and COPPER finishes, occur due to material oxidation when exposed to air and contribute to the product's depth and natural appearance.
