The pedestals from the Gemini range are a highly innovative solution to build raised floors in residential and shopping contexts. The range only includes 2 models, with heights from 35 mm and 195 mm, with support only. The height can reach over 1m achieved by the use of the modular extensions of 40 and 120mm (sold separately). The height can be adjusted in two smart ways: laterally, through the practical adjustment ring, or from above, with the handy T-key (the same already used for Hercules, 3D-Scopico and Level Up). Lateral adjustment allows each support to reach its maximum height simply by turning the central ring, while keeping both the base and the head firmly in place. Once the flooring is laid, you can easily check the level of every tile and fine-tune it with millimetric precision, thanks to the T-key – ensuring a flawless, perfectly aligned surface every time. The pedestal consists of a base, a lock ring with a screw, and a fixed head provided with 4 removable spacer tabs for either 2 or 4 mm grout lines. Each pedestal can be matched with a separate self-leveling system*, which can make up for slope gradients from 0% to 5% (the self-leveling system is not included). The support base is square for optimised installation along perimeters and in corners, without having to cut sections of the base. The base comes with built-in channel drains in order for water to flow out to prevent stagnation. The maximum recommended distance between two consecutive pedestals is 60 cm. When using larger size tiles, we recommend that an intermediate support without spacer tabs be installed to support the floor.
