Description

The Goodwood House in Sussex, England, purchased as a hunting lodge by the 1st duke of Richmond in 1697, has been greatly renovated and expanded and is currently a well-balanced manor home with an attractive center and noticeable curved domes on either side. Just like its name sake the Goodwood suite is also well-balanced with a strong center surrounded by robust curved arms. The suite was originally a custom design based upon the Blenheim suite but with a deeper seat and an overall softer look. While on display in the showroom waiting for our clients re-modeling to be completed, there was such interest in this design that we made it part of our permanent collection. Shown here in our deluxe mulled wine aniline leather, it can be ordered in another one of our deluxe, premium or antiqued leathers of your choice or you may also use your own fabric. The Goodwood suite has extra padding over the beech hard wood frame and looser tied buttons to give it that gracious look. The feet are bronze rolling casters underneath French polished mahogany legs to finish off the look. The Goodwood suite comes in four sizes, a club chair, a 2 seat love seat or 3 or 4 seat couch. The suite comes packaged as either: a loveseat and a 3 seat couch; two 3 seat couches or a 3 seat couch and two chairs. As we build to order, please contact us personally for any other combination.
