Harewood House was built by the Lascelles family in the mid-18th century in Yorkshire England with money earned in the sugar trade. It is the uninterrupted family home still lived in by the current Earl and Countess Harewood today. As the family has so well maintained the House and its magnificent art collection, Harewood House has recently been designated as a museum.
The Harewood suite looks like it could have been adorning one of the public rooms or library two hundred and fifty years ago and would fit in just as well today. Shown in antiqued green leather, this suite could be ordered in any one of our antiqued colours as well as in any of our premium or deluxe leathers. If you have your own fabric you prefer, that is fine as well or our custom designers can help you choose whatever covering will fit well with your dcor.
The Harewood suite comes in four sizes, a club chair, a 2 seat love seat or 3 or 4 seat couch. The suite comes packaged as either: a loveseat and a 3 seat couch; two 3 seat couches or a 3 seat couch and two chairs. As we build to order, please contact us personally for any other combination.
This suite is the newest in our line having just been released this year. With more modern touches of comfortably stuffed T-cushions and a little deeper seat, the Harewood suite would be a stunning addition to any room. Add the decorative finishing of hand polished bun feet, hand covered buttons and polished brass studs your home could have the ambience of a Harewood House today.
