Description

The butyl rubber employed is set to be so fluid that it penetrates into the spunbound structure of the SOLITEX roof sheeting and permanently seals the nail penetration Foam tapes available on the market may have the disadvantage that they do not penetrate into the spunbound structure of the roofing underlay/membrane and seal only superficially. Upon exposure to rain combined with wind, moisture can then seep between foam tape and spunbond up to the nail opening and hence penetrate the construction. pro clima NAIDEC consists of a tight-mesh polypropylene reinforced double sided butyl adhesive tape. The butyl rubber employed is set to be so fluid that it penetrates into the spunbound structure of the SOLITEX roof sheeting and permanently seals the nail penetration.
