Description

Description
The Svevia parapet is designed for urban, suburban and residential applications. It meets a minimum reference height of 1000 mm and is not penetrable by a 100 mm diameter sphere. The system is verified for a service horizontal linear load up to 200 daN/m (2.0 kN/m).

Specification items
  • Modular system composed of posts, handrail and welded-mesh infill panels.
  • Handrail: rectangular tubular steel 70×40×3 mm, connected to posts by connection plates.
  • Vertical posts: rolled IPE 100 profile, supplied with base plate prepared with four holes for anchoring with threaded rods or equivalent systems.
  • Infill: Svevia welded-mesh panels with 62×132 mm mesh, complete with upper and lower frames in 25×4 mm flat bar.
  • Standard post spacing (centre-to-centre): 1,992 mm.

General characteristics
  • Verified for a horizontal load of 200 daN/m applied on the handrail surface.
  • Elements arranged to reduce climbability risk (according to UNI 10809).
  • Not penetrable by a 100 mm diameter sphere (according to DM 238/1989).

  • Type: IPE 100 with base plate for anchoring 200×150×10 mm with 4 holes Ø 15 mm.
  • Post height: 1126 mm.
  • Post spacing: 1992 mm.

Fasteners
  • Material: stainless steel AISI 304.
  • Panel-to-post: 2+2 TDE bolts M10×30 (standard); TTQST anti-theft M10×30 on request.
  • Handrail-to-post: 3+3 M10 bolts.
  • Base plate: 4+4 threaded rods M12 length 180 mm (not supplied).

Coating
  • Hot-dip galvanizing according to UNI EN ISO 1461.
  • Polyester thermosetting paint on hot-dip galvanized material in RAL colours available.
