DescriptionThe Bridge guardrail is designed to provide mechanical strength, durability and ease of installation. It is particularly suitable for protecting pedestrian routes in road, urban and extra-urban environments. It is sized to withstand a linear horizontal service load up to 150 daN/m (1.5 kN/m).
SpecificationThe Bridge guardrail is a modular system composed of posts, handrail and infill panels in welded steel grating. The upper handrail is a square steel tube 40×40×3 mm, connected to the posts by specific fixing plates. The vertical posts are made of rectangular tube 80×40×4 mm and include a base plate with four holes for fastening to the supporting structure. The infill is formed by Svevia welded grating panels with 62×132 mm mesh, complete with upper and lower frames in 25×4 mm flat steel. The clear distance between posts is 2,014 mm.
