Description
Factory Furniture were approached by the architects for Le Tramway, Besancon project. We were asked to design and manufacture around 130 benches based on our popular Skop range. The standard Skop bench design was modified to include special armrests that also acted as skate and rough sleeping deterrents. The powder-coated stainless steel frame and FSC® hardwood slats were specified to ensure a long lasting product that fitted in perfectly with it’s elegant surroundings. The benches were installed along the entire route of Le tramway running through the city of Besancon in France.
