Overview
Designed for combined daylighting and safe roof access, the FAKRO DRF DU6 flat access roof light is intended for locations where vertical windows are impractical but roof egress is required. The unit integrates a DU6 double‑chamber glazing unit, a top‑hinged sash for wide opening, and a robust multi‑chamber uPVC frame with external cladding.

Applications and compatibility
The DRF DU6 is suitable for flat roofs with pitches from 2° to 15°. Installation angle can be increased by 3° using an XRD/A frame. For raised installations (green or gravel roofs), use the XRD/W installation base. Applicable in residential, commercial and light industrial buildings where controlled roof access and daylighting are required.

Construction and materials
The frame is manufactured from multi‑chamber uPVC profiles in white (RAL 9010) with insulation‑enhancing filling. External cladding is Black (RAL 9005). The construction is moisture‑resistant and designed for low maintenance.

Glazing and safety
Glazing is a DU6 double‑chamber unit with an internal P2A anti‑burglary pane. The glazing unit has a rated heat transfer coefficient of 0.5 W/m²K; the external pane is toughened with a lifetime hail resistance warranty. Air permeability, watertightness and wind‑load resistance meet high performance classes for safety and durability.

Operation and control
Manual operation is standard. Gas springs assist opening and closing and hold the sash in the open position. No electric or remote control, or solar supply, is included as standard for this model.
