Pyramid glass rooflights, skylights and atriums are a great cost effective way of introducing natural light through a roof opening, whilst producing several lines of symmetry and a single focal point. Glass pyramid rooflights, skylights and atriums are hipped in design and may often be provided in just 4 No. glass units with no intermediate rafters. Shallower glass pyramid rooflights/atriums may be provided with single hip bar details, whilst stepper pitched glass pyramid applications may require double hip bar assemblies (this glass pyramid design method is also often more cost effective). Pyramid glass rooflights, skylights and atriums are common place in many flat roof applications (especially when positioned centrally about a room or in series along a corridor) and to complete the apex of much larger tiled roof applications. They may also be utilised to complete the entire roof on glass roof extensions, conservatories and garden rooms.
