Description

Conical or multi faceting glass rooflights, skylights and atriums are a great cost effective way of introducing natural light through a roof opening, whilst producing multiple lines of symmetry and a single focal point. Glass conical faceting rooflights, skylights and atriums are hipped in design and can be provided abound any number of facets including triangular glass pyramids, pentagonal glass pyramids, hexagonal glass pyramids, octagonal glass pyramids etc. Small steeper pitched pyramids may also be provided with a structural apex section only and no supporting hip bar sections. Shallower and larger faceting glass conical rooflights/atriums may be provided with single hip bar details, whilst steeper pitched faceting glass conical rooflight applications may require double hip bar assemblies (this faceting glass pyramid design method is also often more cost effective). Conical multi faceting glass rooflights, skylights and atriums are not as common as square pyramid glass atriums, rooflights and skylights. However provide an excellent way of producing an aesthetical feature to a room/foyer. Faceting glass pyramid rooflights may also provide a cost effective method in completing circular roof openings or to complete conical tiled roofs. They may also be utilised to complete the entire roof on glass roof extensions, conservatories and garden rooms. It is important to note that require supporting apex detailing will increase in conjunction with the number of rooflight facets designed.
