Intelligent Protect AC/FR (10 kg) is a water-based, ready-to-use coating based on modified natural resins. It is formulated to provide combined anti-corrosion and flame-retardant performance when applied by airless spray. The product dries to a peelable, flexible protective film suitable for non-porous substrates (glass, aluminium, etc.) and is intended for both internal and external industrial use, including marine environments. The film is removable without residue at the end of works.

Uses and preparation
Prior to application: Perform a trial on a small visible area with a brush and remove after 3 days to evaluate adhesion and removability. Mask ventilation points as needed. Stir product to homogenise; do not add solvents or water. Product supplied ready to use.

Application:

• Environmental conditions: temperature > 5°C and dry substrate; do not apply in rain or if rain is expected within 24 hours
• Typical applied mass/thickness: 0.6–0.7 kg/m2 (≈600–700 µm) to ensure peelability and protection
• For higher risk, apply 1.0 kg/m2 (1000 µm) in two coats, applying the second coat when the first is tack-free
• When using a roller, use a long-haired roller and apply in two layers (second layer after first is tack-free)
• Film becomes tack-free in ~0.5–8 hours depending on temperature, humidity, ventilation and thickness
• Total drying normally 4–48 hours; film must not contact water nor be exposed to temperatures < 5°C while drying
• Ensure sufficient ventilation for internal applications
• Remove protective film at the end of construction works
