Description

Application Adhesion-promoting primary coating with isolating effect for subsequent coatings on wood (dimensionally stable, limited movement), wood-based materials, MDF, OSB, gypsum plaster, gypsum boards (also suitable on large areas as an insulating wallpaper primer), zinc, aluminium, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, copper, and old acrylic/alkyd paintwork. Certain plastics and coated surfaces are possible (see Technical Datasheet). Iron and steel should be pretreated with products from the metal protection range. Blocks penetration of nicotine residues, wax, tar, smoke, soot, grease stains and dried water stains. Can isolate mould stains after professional remediation. NOTE: Do not use alkaline cleaners when pre-cleaning absorbent substrates; follow substrate preparation instructions in the Technical Datasheet.

Product properties Extremely high adhesion on a wide range of substrates. Suitable for large areas. Water-based, low-tension formulation with very high yield and excellent isolating effect on many critical substrates.

Binder base Cationic dispersion

Degree of gloss Matte

Drying (23°C, 60% rel. humidity)
  • Dust-dry: approx. 30 minutes
  • Touch-dry: approx. 90 minutes
  • Ready for overcoating after 5–6 hours
  • Air humidity above 80% significantly extends drying times; ensure evaporating water leaves the room quickly as prolonged dampness can draw substances from the substrate

Spreading rate 8–12 m²/l per coat, depending on substrate

Type of application
  • Brushing: use synthetic bristle brushes (e.g. Wistoba Krex or Mesko M7/M10)
  • Rolling: use short-pile Aqua Felt rollers
  • Spraying: dilute with up to 10% water

Shade White. Light and medium colours can be mixed using the Jansen MIX System.

Field of application Interior and exterior

Package size 750 ml, 2.5 l
