Product descriptionAnti-fracture epoxy gel based on high-performance, permanently elastic Fluidotixo®-C5 technology for waterproofing and securely bonding mosaics, tiles, porcelain stoneware, extra-large slabs, marble and natural stone – including unstable materials – of any size to any substrate. The new structural gelation adhesion technology guarantees ultra-high performance even on cracked substrates (up to 3 mm) and on substrates that are not perfectly dry (residual moisture <5%). Double Slip Resistance T (T). Coverage: 1.5–3.5 kg/m². The mixture is extremely creamy, free-flowing and thixotropic, retaining its shape and thickness on both floors and walls. It develops high-performance, crack‑resistant adhesion with subsequent gelation, thanks to an innovative blend of polymeric thinners which reduce the elastic modulus while enhancing crack prevention in floor coverings. PowerGel® Pro Max is engineered for installation of large-format tiles and slabs of any type and size in high-traffic areas, even on cracked substrates (up to 3 mm). The epoxy gel helps to dissipate and neutralise substrate movements and expansion of the cladding, distributing heavy loads evenly without causing stress. The gelation-based bonding technology ensures stable and secure installation directly onto single- or two-component polymer and polymer-cement membranes without triggering corrosive chemical reactions that could compromise the integrity of the adhesive/waterproofing system. It ensures a monolithic structural bond even for applications subject to high stresses, such as balconies, terraces, swimming pools and façades, allowing for direct installation and waterproofing on difficult substrates such as wood, metal, PVC and fibreglass. Classified as R2T – EN 12004 and RM 01P – EN 14891.
Advantages- Structural gelation: transforms the adhesive into a dynamic system that adapts during installation, stabilises during curing and maintains high mechanical performance over time by forming a three-dimensional gelation network that bonds substrate and tile back, creating an active, flexible ITZ resistant to cracking, cyclic stress, expansion and moisture.
- High-performance elastic anti-fracture adhesion: exceptional tensile and shear adhesion; ideal for surfaces prone to deformation and extra-large ceramic formats; suitable for high-traffic areas and cracked substrates up to 3 mm.
- Easy to apply: creamy, free-flowing, thixotropic consistency that retains shape and thickness on floors and walls.
- Total waterproofing: allows simultaneous installation and elastic waterproofing with the same material, ensuring a continuous barrier against water even on non-traditional substrates and preventing infiltration under high water pressure.
