Floor heating mat 126002

Overview
This mat has been developed for heating footpaths and driveways. The heating mat is easy to unroll, cut and fold for simple and fast installation. MAGNUM Outdoor Mat comprises heating mats, two sensor units that measure humidity and outdoor temperature, and a custom-made control cabinet.

Construction and materials
The power supply cable is joined to the resistance wire. An aluminium reinforcement jacket protects the resistance wires against mechanical damage and provides EMC shielding. The core has PTFE (Teflon) inner sheaths and a PVC outer sheath resistant to chemicals commonly found in concrete and asphalt.

Complete systems
MAGNUM Outdoor installations are designed per order. A watertight control cabinet (IP-65) is manufactured to match the number of mats/cables and the power requirements. For larger projects the cabinet can be fitted with modulating power regulators up to 50 kW to limit peak loads and reduce energy use. The system can be implemented at 230 V and 400 V.
