purpose:
exhausting smoke and heat caused by a fire inside the building by means of windows in staircases of public facilities, passages, and atria of shopping malls
ventilation of rooms in normal operating conditions without activating the alarm system
supplying sufficient amount of fresh air to facilities in which apart from windows an automatic ventilation system was employed
It is possible to use the mcr OSO system together with built-in windows. Whether the windows are opened and closed efficiently is an important feature of a smoke exhaust system. Special attention should be paid to accurate adjustment of the leaf to the frame: the two elements must be prevented from jamming.
types of windows used in the mcr OSO window smoke exhaust system:
windows opened from above or below (inwards of outwards);
windows with a vertical opening axis (opened outwards or inwards);
windows with a horizontal opening axis (in the middle of the window)
construction:
made of impregnated wood;
made of polyvinyl chloride of increased impact resistance; with internal steel sections
made of aluminium anodised or lacquered for protection against corrosion.
