Description

The unusual design of this circularly shaped furniture makes any place into a real hot spot - a perfect meeting point for taking a break. Public spaces are meeting places. Hot Dot´s design takes up this topic as a metaphor. Two flat steel bands cross, part, and run upwards and come together again. This is a product line for places where people meet. Its unusual shape lends these places something unmistakable. Hot Dot consists of a stool and a table with circular surfaces made of HPL. The slightly rounded edges of these surfaces also make Hot Dot suitable for use in schools and playgrounds. The HPL plates are available in various colors and consist of 70% FSC certified cellulose and 30% melamine resins. Their surface is resistant to most common solvents. This way, scribbles can be removed almost completely. The metal parts are made of hot-dip galvanised steel. They have a high-quality coating with a slight metallic pattern. All elements can be replaced individually in case of damage due to vandalism.
