Description FireMaster® Marine Plus water repellent blankets is a flexible, resilient blanket able to provide effective fire protection in cellulosic, hydrocarbon and jet fire applications whilst repelling surface water through the use of a special additive treatment. The small amount of additive used ensures the blanket retains the non-combustibility property of the base FireMaster Marine Plus blanket. FireMaster® Marine Plus water repellent blanket can be supplied faced with aluminium foil. Features ● Colour : white ● Tensile strength (typical value 128 kg/m³ density) 15KPa ● Water repellent treatment content maximum 0.5% ● Non-combustible to IMO FTP Code 2010 Part 1 ● Water absorption <3% by weight and <0.15 kg/m2 (basis 24 hrs) <0.5 kg/m2 (28 days) Applications All applications where FireMaster Marine Plus blanket would be is used but where additional water ingress resistance is required such as: ● Fire resistant divisions in marine and offshore industries with A or H class fire performance ● Hydrocarbon and jet fire protection of pipework and vessels ● Hydrocarbon fire protection of structural steelwork
