The front porch and side veranda had been covered with a single ply membrane bonded to a ply substrate. Over time, the ply on the underside delaminated and sagged. The membrane detracted from the ascetics of the Victorian iron veranda. Our client’s brief was to restore the veranda and entrance porch to its original zinc covering. Peters Roofing Contractors Ltd have restored many iron bandstands and traditional verandas. We knew from past experience exactly how the zinc coverings were fitted. As you can see from the pictures, the farmhouse has been returned to its former splendour.
