Carnegie Library had fallen into dereliction. Bexley Council, with help from Lottery Funding, raised the money to refurbish Carnegie Library.
We were contracted by Heather Burrell, a local metal artist employed by Bexley Council to reinstate the finial to the ventilation stack.
Heather re-made the supporting ironwork and repaired the damaged copper galleon and we re-made the ornamental copperwork to the dome and surroundings.
The curved dome panels were machined to a radius using 0.6 gauge copper, the remaining copperwork was spun using 1mm copper.
