Description
A dilapidated riverside summerhouse was rebuilt to match the original as required by the local authority.
Peters Roofing used archive photographs to match the historic detailing using 0.6 gauge natural copper. Unusually the dome has a radius in two directions, similar to half a football, whereas domes are normally faceted with the copper curving one way. To achieve this form special tooling was made to pre-curve the copper to ensure a ripple and kink-free finish.
