Stunnig lightweight restaurant tables that can be taken apart in a blink of an eye, so that dining room layouts can be altered quickly, all the while keeping the feet and changing the table top.
Head waiters regularly have to reconfigure their dining rooms based on reservations. The ILOK system is designed to make their job easier.
The component parts of ILOK are:
- Three elegant, lightweight and sturdy oak table leg models.
- Three self-standing, lightweight and highly rigid table tops. A 1.6m diameter top only weighs 18.5kg.
- Quick click table top / foot connecting system.
- Removable flanges mean that large tables can be put together.
Patrick Sarran has combined these components parts to create this configurable table concept. Tables of all sizes can be put together by simply clicking the feet into the table tops. Very large tables are created by combining rectangles and semi-circles and are kept tight and aligned by removable flanges.
Wheeled tables for room service are just as easy to assemble using different sized table tops.
Storage is optimized: the components are lightweight making them easy to handle. The 3.2cm thick table tops are totally flat with flush connector boards. They can be stored vertically leaning against each other in a small space without any risk of them damaging each other.
The feet are interchangeable so few extra ones are needed. They are stored in individual protective covers on shelves or on a wheeled rack.
