COQ®’s shape and features make it truly innovative. The trolley was originally created in 2007 with the help of the cheese maker and cheese maturer Xavier and then further improved in November 2012. It is ideal for small dining rooms.
Restaurants need to protect matured cheeses from sudden changes of temperature. The COQ® trolley is fitted with a ventilated eutectic cooling system which is the only one of its kind. It maintains cheese at cheese cellar temperature throughout service. Coq’s three supersoft wheels with brakes make it very compact, stable and mobile. Grip the hood handle and you will find that the trolley can easily be rolled between tables. And the Coq is so lightweight that you will have no trouble carrying it up or down a few steps. The hood hooks onto the top of one of the legs when serving a table of diners. The revolving board slides sideways, freeing up a space for laying out plates. The Coq cheese trolley makes for an elegant and spectacular cheese service.
At the end of the cheese service, the cheese board bends in on its axle and can be removed, covered and placed back in the fridge until the next service. The trolley is assembled by slotting the parts into place on top of each other. The COQ® cheese trolley can be dismantled in less than a minute without the need for any tools. This feature makes it much easier to maintain.
The COQ® cheese trolley is fitted with an electric blower module that needs to be recharged between services and cold packs that need to be placed in the freezer between services.
