Terracotta is a ceramic made by firing clay. The color may vary according to the clay used. Shaped with a die and then dried, it is finally fired in a high-temperature kiln. After firing, what started out as a lump of earth becomes a dense product with virtuous intrinsic properties and a lifespan of several decades.
Terracotta tiles
Inspired by nature, Rairies Montrieux terracotta slabs will bring your projects to life. On interior or exterior facing walls or decorative friezes, they adapt to all styles, from the most modern to the most traditional.
Create a unique atmosphere with bricks in a variety of shapes and finishes (smooth, structured, long, etc.). Our wide range of colors can be matched to any architectural project, from the most classic to the boldest.
Our terracotta cladding panels not only look good, they perform too. They can be used as part of energy-saving projects, such as the installation of an external thermal insulation system. They provide a refined, authentic decorative finish, while enhancing the protection of ITE insulation thanks to their weather resistance.
How are Rairies Montrieux cladding panels made?
Made from natural raw materials (clay and sand) extracted locally, our terracotta tiles are environmentally friendly by nature. We use traditional, environmentally-friendly cooking techniques, which enable us to produce top-quality products.
Our cladding panels can therefore be used in sustainable construction projects. In fact, thanks to the use of biomass boilers in our plant and the use of reclaimed wood for firing, the carbon impact of our wood chips is low at the time of manufacture.
