INSTALLATION- Installation must be carried out between +5°C and +30°C on a sound substrate.
- Mortars are prepared or supplied as work progresses.
- The bedding mortar is leveled with a screed and applied progressively. Its thickness should be as uniform as possible (~4 cm).
- Units should be moistened, especially in hot weather.
- When laying, blend products of different colors and shades from different batches.
- Joints are left between the units. Joints are made with mortar at the earliest 24 h after laying and at the latest 72 h after. Minimum recommended width: 5 mm.
- After jointing, clean the pavement to prevent any film or deposits on the surface.
- Expansion joints must be provided in accordance with regulatory requirements (10 ml or 20 m²).
MAINTENANCE- Original colors are very stable; minimal maintenance is required, natural patina will develop over time.
- Applying a mineralizer will facilitate cleaning and prolong the surface appearance.
- Do not use high-pressure cleaners or acidic products (risk of irreversible alterations).
- Use de-icing salts sparingly, avoiding excess stagnant residues.
