Ventilation aperture silencer SCS-SCN

SCS-SCN Cylindrical Silencers Circular acoustic silencers manufactured by SINTEC adapt easily to circular air pipelines. They are placed among pipe sections diminishing the noise produced by fans and turbines. Its structure consists of an outer casing composed of a galvanised sheet tube with a spiral clamping and an inner casing made of perforated plate. The space between these plates is filled with rock wool and protected with a black acoustic veil. The dimensions of the connection or inner diameter range between 80 and 800mm and the standard lengths are 300, 600, 900, 1200 and 1500mm, but depend on the diameter of the air inlet connections. Unlike SCS silencers, the SCN models include an absorbing core along all the silencer’s length. This core is made of a drilled plate and filled with rock wool with a protecting acoustic veil. Composition Exterior sleeve made from variable thickness galvanised sheet spiral tubing. Interior sleeve made from 0.6mm thick perforated galvanised sheet. Interior filling of medium density rock wool. Connection hoses on both ends with EPDM watertight seals. APPLICATIONS Smoke extraction in the hospitality industry. Ventilation systems.
