SBS asphalt vapor barrier ATLAS® AR

CHAPE ATLAS® AR is a flexible SBS elastomeric bitumen waterproofing membrane with a composite (glass scrim – glass fleece) reinforcement. The topside benefits from an embossed aluminum sheet protection covered by elastomeric bitumen and coated with slate chippings. The underside is covered by a thermofusible film. CHAPE ATLAS® AR is used as a self-protected finishing layer for upstand application. Advantages: - high performance, - versatility, - easy implementation. IMPLEMENTATION - CHAPE ATLAS® AR must be applied only by heat welding or torchon techniques. Hot bitumen must not be used in the bonding process.
