Blockfix™ is a specially developed thin joint and repair mortar used with ALC blocks. These thin-application products are produced to provide reliable adhesion while helping to minimise thermal bridging and other problems commonly associated with traditional mortars. It is available in two colours, grey and white. A cementitious specially formulated thin joint and repair mortar used with ALC blocks. Areas Of Use Blockfix™ is a specially developed thin joint and repair mortar used with ALC blocks. Application Method Preparation of surfaces Ensure the ALC surface is free from loose particles, dust, dirt, grease and oil. Surface should be moistened with water immediately prior to application of BlockfixTM ALC. Mixing Mix thoroughly with the recommended amount of water, with a high speed mixer or with a hand agitator for 3 – 5 minutes. Let the material stand for 5 minutes prior to application.
