A kitchen project in Rome, the capital of Great Beauty, inside a prestigious apartment that has been renovated with conservative restoration, expertly maintaining the stylistic elements and distribution of the rooms. The leading characters in this space are black lacquer and teak wood, which with its inherent beauty and durability evokes rationalist kitchens and serves as a timeless cultural bond. The common thread throughout the interior design project is the eclectic contamination of languages typical of early 20th century Art Deco. The kitchen environment, designed on a corner layout with a peninsula and built-in tall units, is bathed in natural light and characterized by high ceilings, The essentiality of the neutral-coloured resin floor and Nero assoluto black stoneware worktops is interrupted by base units of the G180 model in book-matched teak veneer, with warm tones. The modules are set up with drawers and storage compartments. The absence of wall units gives room to walls embellished with moldings, and the work area with black backsplash is framed by an elegant shelf in teak. The wall in front of the peninsula is set up with built-in tall units that house the refrigerator, combi oven, microwave, coffee machine and vacuum drawer in a stainless steel finish that contrasts with the black lacquered doors and fronts.
