This 3D module is used to design professional apparatus and pipeline models quickly and efficiently. Pipes can be designed after selecting the pipe class by drawing a line in 3D. Molded parts and bends are selected from the pipe class and automatically inserted. An optional database (.mdb, SQL, Access or Oracle) allows the data from the 2D drawing to be linked to the 3D model. All data is also located in the CAD drawing, so that the database is not mandatory and can be activated at any time. Autorouting and variable movement of pipes is included in standard functionality. A function to transfer design data to create isometric drawing using P-ISO X (Isogen) is also included. Bent pipes and/or welded components can similarly be designed. After inserting all the parts, click to generate the required connectors such as flanges, gaskets, bolts or welds along the entire course of the pipe. Expansion parts of already detailed sections of pipe can be moved along the course of the pipe using the intelligent editing functions (the "rubber band" function) – even around corners and through branches. If necessary you can even change the pipe class while in the middle of designing the network. Evaluation functions such as lists and reports are also available.
