RHEINZINK® - Tile Systems
RHEINZINK-tiles include flat-lock, square and diamond-shaped tiles. Flat-lock tiles are primarily used for large façade surfaces. This is where their visual impact is the most impressive.
The square and diamond-shaped tiles comprise the group of RHEINZINK-small tiles. Due to the small size of individual components, design solutions can even be found for geometrically complicated buildings. Among other things, traditional cladding of roof dormers, chimney heads or roof edges with small tiles is not a problem.

Facade claddings (cavity structure)
Facades are the "calling cards" of buildings. They characterise the aesthetic essence of buildings. FalZinc® minimizes reflection, conveying discreet representative building characteristics, even on large surface areas. The most frequently selected type of installation is the angular standing seam on a ventilated framework. Through our installers network
numerous other solutions and configurations of facade panels are available, such as shingles and tiles.

RHEINZINK-interlocking tiles lend this project in Mexico its concise structure. The "preweathered pro blue-grey" surface, pre-patinated ex-works, ensures the typical blue-grey aesthetic quality of a zinc patina. See our database of references for more photos of this property.

RHEINZINK® - Seam technology
RHEINZINK-seam systems join the individual sections longitudinally. The angled standing seam is the norm in the facade area. It is distinguished by the strong emphasis on the seams (width ca. 12 mm). Widely available machines ensure that profile edging and seam closure is done with efficiency. Various section lengths and widths allow even complex special forms to be realised.

VM ZINC® facade applications began as an extension of the building envelope from the roof down to the walls. The first technique used was standing seam, but now, in order to meet architects' demands,
VM ZINC® has developed innovative systems which use all the material qualities of zinc: long-lasting, malleable, flexible, aesthetic and prestigious.
Today, VM ZINC® offers a range of systems supplied with preformed finishing accessories produced specifically for covering facades in the service and residential sector, for both new construction and renovation.

RHEINZINK® - Click Strip System
The batten system is the oldest of the installation systems available today. A wooden batten or the innovative RHEINZINK-click roll batten bracket is inserted between the systems to accommodate fasteners. These alternative types of fastening are covered with a roll cap. The RHEINZINK-click roll system meets all the requirements of an efficient installation and provides the greatest possible precision.

RHEINZINK® - Reveal Panel
A particular advantage of the reveal panel is the 200 mm - 333 mm selection of bay widths and the variable joint widths of 0 mm - 30 mm. In conjunction with the flexibility of installation directions (horizontal and vertical), reveal panels give the architect an incredible amount of latitude when implementing his/her design ideas. A diversity of building designs can be optimized. For example, durable, quality solutions can be realized for renovations or subsequent insulation in a short period of time.

RHEINZINK® - Cassettes
The use of cassettes in curtain walls comes from the development of large components for quick and cost-efficient installation. These are large surface, elevated cladding. The four lateral edges are folded. RHEINZINK offers the option of having cassettes produced individually and project-specific. When installed on appropriate substructures, cassettes lend a futuristic, "technical" appearance to buildings. This installation system is very popular for administrative and commercial buildings.

RHEINZINK® -Trapezoidal Profile
Whether installed horizontally or vertically, the cool, angular language of shape makes the ribbed, stylised trapezoidal profile appealing. The contrasting effect of light and shadow which arises under light incidence is more intense than with the softer effect of the corrugated profile. The option of choosing between A and B as the visible side, makes this façade cladding a profile with "two faces".
|
|
RHEINZINK® -Horizontal Panel
Horizontal panels looks similar to reveal panels and are reminiscent of wooden façades. With a marginal profile on both edges, components are mounted indirectly with a special RHEINZINK-bracket profile, with a strictly defined 20 mm groove. Linear expansion due to changes in temperature can be accommodated, thanks to this technique.

Surfaces: TECU® Zinn
TECU® Zinn (matt grey, tinned) is TECU® Classic that has been specially tinned and surface-treated on both sides to create a matt grey surface. The surface continues to develop further over time on exposure to the atmosphere. The result is a warm, matt grey colour which harmonises excellently with other building materials. TECU® Zinn is protected by patent and is available in TECU® strips and in a number of special formats.
This material gives architects looking to create a light, grey surface many interesting design possibilities. When using TECU® Zinn they also get all the technical advantages of copper, such as durability and workability in cold temperatures.
