Description

ProStep Stair nosings are an effective way of protecting stair treads/edges from damage and also provide additional safety for pedestrians. Traditionally, these nosings are manufactured from a slip resistant surface such as rubber and/or carborundum. With the introduction of a photo-luminescent stair nosing, a new level of safety and durability can be achieved, especially in areas where the risk of a fall can be catastrophic. Photo-luminescent products continue to glow in the absence of light. Even if back-up power systems fail, photo-luminescent surfaces such as the inserts in these stair nosings continue to emit light for at least 4 hours, making them the ultimate in emergency safety features. ProStep PL safety stair nosings are manufactured from high strength anodised aluminium, contain an anti-slip section and a special photo-luminescent insert. In this way, ProStep PL safety stair nosings provide the same safety features as the rest of the ProStep range but with the extra benefit of "glow in the dark technology". ProStep PL safety stair nosings offer the optimum in safety features and are also easy to install, making building upgrades simple. ProStep PL is available pre-cut and drilled with the appropriate fixing products ready for the DIY installation. Ask your CTA representative for a measure and quote or send you measurements via the contact us section of the website for a quick evaluation of cost. You'll be surprised how easy and cost effective it is to upgrade your steps with ProStep ready to install products.
