In the Barcelona workshop, the cover of our BKF chair is hand-sewn with German Gütermann threads. The master craftsman combines the use of triple feed head machines and hand stitching to achieve the highest level of detail. This cover rests on a 12mm diameter solid steel frame, hand polished and painted in black epoxy. bO “BONET” Bonet, the first initial of the BKF chair, is the only Spaniard of the trio of authors of this exclusive design. Born in Barcelona, he decided to move to the River Plate after the Civil War began. In Buenos Aires in 1938, with his partners Kurchan and Ferrari, he would give birth to the design that has since travelled the world.
