Patented embedded bottom track
Skyline Sliding features an innovative sliding system with tracks embedded in the floor that guarantees effective thermal-acoustic insulation and protects the mechanisms from external interference. A translation guide covers the device designed for the movement of the sliding sash, preventing the entry of dust and dirt into the bottom track groove. This embedded bottom track is a patented product, exclusively designed for the Skyline Minimal Frames windows and doors collection and licensed by national and European institutes.

Performance and functionality
The system ensures maximum sliding smoothness, even for very large windows, with minimal visual impact. The fixed frame is 78 mm for double-glazed windows and 92 mm for triple-glazed windows, contributing to structural stability and high insulating performance. Manual operation allows moving sashes up to 700 kg; using customized steel hardware, moving sashes up to 1,000 kg is possible.

Materials and finishes (examples)
Refined wooden surfaces are used for the visible frame and sash. Examples shown and available finishes include oak (rovere) in natural effect, oak in wengé staining, and lacquered softwood (abete) to sample. The fixed leaf can be entirely glass or emphasised by a wooden frame.

Applications
Suitable for large glazed façades, patio doors and balcony openings where a minimal sightline, high insulation and elevated load-bearing sliding are required. Used in residential and contract projects, including large-scale windows and panoramic walls.
