PMMA noise barrier

Barrier consisting of transparent panels made of PMMA (polymethyl metachrylate) complete with frame and gaskets. This methacrylate panel, type-approved according to RFI/Italferr standards, is made from non-regenerated material which can be either cast or extruded and is either coloured or colour-less. The sheets are mounted in galvanised steel perimeter frames, painted on 3 or 4 sides, and can be stacked to reach the required height. The technical specifications of PMMA comply with the UNI EN ISO 7823 standard, Parts 1 and 2. The seals are made from EPDM rubber and will guarantee tightness of the sheet/frame assembly by making up for any expansion caused by dynamic and thermal factors. The panel is dimensioned to withstand impacts and according to project loads, it is inserted inside HEA or tubular uprights, suitably sized according to the overall barrier height and features suitable systems for anchoring to the foundation plus all the nuts/bolts/screws etc. needed to complete the work. Foundation work is not included.
