The integrated anti-noise safety barrier acts as both a safety barrier and an acoustic barrier, featuring an extremely compact footprint widthways and supporting structure optimisation, meeting the requirements of protection class H4.
The integrated anti-noise safety barrier, in addition to acting as an acoustic barrier, also guarantees a protection class of H4 (UNI EN 1317). The integrated barrier consists of structural metalwork of HEA 160 profiles arranged at a centre distance of i=2.25, built from galvanised steel and welded to the base plate, of 2 horizontal members in the form of tubular sections, of triple-wall tape complete with a special spacer element and a galvanized sheet steel press-formed guard encasing the barrier base to provide motorcyclist protection. For integrated barriers with heights exceeding H=3.00 m, a hinge (articulated joint) is designed in the supporting metalwork to tip over the barrier section at heights >3.00 m thus making it easier to carry out any required maintenance and servicing.
The sound-insulating and sound-absorbing panels are made from 12/10 thick painted aluminium sheeting, and come complete with a rock wool or polyester fibre core blanket. Each panel is fixed to its upright via a retainer system consisting of cables and a through-bolt/eyebolt. The integrated barrier is complete with a system for anchoring to the foundation (threaded bars) plus all the nuts/bolts/screws etc. needed to ensure workmanlike construction.
