The material obtained from concrete and mineralised wood (density: 550 kg/m³) can be used as type-approved sound-absorbing cladding for High Speed/High Capacity railway applications, or for panels suitable for sound-absorbing (acoustic) barriers or temporary (mobile) barriers for job-site applications.
The CONCRETE panels consist of two layers, in which the sound-insulating and load-bearing function is provided by the reinforced concrete layer, whereas the acoustic sound-absorbent function is provided by the ribbed expanded clay
concrete mass facing the noise source. These panels are also type-approved for use along High Speed railway lines. Panelling made with a mix of cement and mineralised wood fibres is resistant to weathering, UV rays, mould, aggressive agents present in rainwater and the atmosphere, alkali and frost.
