As part of the renovation of the building, the Dillingen factory for perforated metal sheets has been given a new façade. In addition to sun and weather protection, the patented DesignPerf© process makes it possible to shade the windows located on the south side of the building, thus maintaining a better working climate. DFGB decided to make a motif perforation based on historical motifs. Historical production sites up to the present day are shown in a short sequence. Thanks to the lighting system, which is flexible in terms of colour design, it is possible to create almost any colour imaginable. Especially in the dark, the façade designed in this way is an eye-catcher. The motif perforation was made in 2 mm aluminium plates which were powder-coated with a RAL colour after perforation.
