Overview
The DXF DU6 by FAKRO is a non-opening flat roof window engineered to maximise natural daylight while providing high thermal performance. The flat glass offers a minimalist appearance suited to contemporary architecture and interior design. Compared with standard solutions, the glazed area can increase by up to 16%, enhancing interior brightness.

Glass & glazing
The product is supplied with the DU6 glazing unit — a double-chamber assembly delivering strong thermal performance. The inner pane is laminated (P2A) to limit risk of fall-through after breakage; the outer pane is toughened and covered by a lifetime hail-resistance warranty.

Frame & material
The frame uses white multi-chamber uPVC profiles (RAL 9010) filled with insulating material to resist moisture, cleaning agents and temperature changes. External cladding is black (RAL 9005). The construction is maintenance-free and designed for long-term performance.

Installation, control & suitability

• Suitable for flat roofs with pitches from 2° to 15°
• For pitches below 2° or to increase the installation angle use the XRD-A angled base
• For green, gravel or ventilated roofs use XRD or XRD/W bases to raise the window above finishing layers and ensure drainage
• Non-opening configuration — no electric control, no solar power supply and no remote control in standard version
