The compact sensor detects changes in position or vibrations and can perform many tasks in your Smart Home. The reliable monitoring, of garage doors, windows or letter box flaps, for example, ensures more comfort and security. MANY POSSIBLE USES FOR MORE COMFORT AND SECURITY Configurable as position or vibration sensors: Recognises changes in position in an angle from 10 to 45° and monitors moving objects, such as garage doors or cellar opening covers. Reports vibrations at the assembly position or at windows. HIGHLY SENSITIVE SENSOR Records even the smallest vibrations at the installation location and reports them immediately to the Homeatic IP System. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted individually for the intended use concerned. ALL THE INFORMATION AT A GLANCE The Homematic IP app enables an overview of all of the objects to be monitored – in this way, any actions (e.g., switching on the garage light) can be triggered by status and position changes in the Smart Home and accessed easily at any time, even when you’re on the move. COMPACT HOUSING The sensor is ideal for use in indoor rooms, but can also be used in weatherproof outdoor locations. Thanks to the compact design, the sensor can also be used in positions where space is tight. SIMPLY GLUE OR SCREW Very little installation work thanks to battery operation and radio communication. The installation material included in the delivery scope allows the sensor to be fixed with screws or quickly and easily with adhesive strips.
