The sensor features three separate motion detection zones for precise and complete monitoring without false alarms. POWERFUL WITH A 20 M RANGE The powerful lens with a detection range of up to 20 m detects movement immediately, thus ensuring the reliable and intelligent monitoring of outdoor areas. Tilting of the sensor allows the desired area to be precisely monitored. In addition, the integrated twilight sensor enables lights to be reliably switched on when it gets dark or at twilight. The sensor can differentiate precisely between brightness levels even on cloudy days. Brief changes brightness are filtered out automatically. ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW AT A GLANCE The Homematic IP app provides an up-to-date overview of the smart home for a feeling of security even when you are out and about. If motion is detected while protection mode is activated, a push notification is immediately sent to the smartphone and an alarm is displayed in the app. FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION OUTDOORS With a wide temperature range of -20°C to +55°C and the weatherproof housing (IP44), the motion detector can safely be installed outdoors or, for example, in a garage. We recommend an installation height of 2.5 m to ensure the optimum detection range.
