SMART HOME CONTROL AT THE TOUCH OF A BUTTON The smartphone is not always close at hand to control Homematic IP devices or functions. In such cases, the universally applicable remote control proves to be particularly practical: devices/functions that are often used in the smart home can be controlled at the touch of a button. INDIVIDUAL CONFIGURATION The eight push-buttons of the remote control can be configured individually or in pairs to perfectly suit individual needs. The "Groups" and "Automation" functions of the Homematic IP smartphone app offer a wide range of solutions for this purpose, from dimming individual light sources and activating eco mode to controlling complex scenarios within the smart home system. FLEXIBLE AND RELIABLE APPLICATION Thanks to battery operation and a wide radio range, the remote control can be used anywhere in the house. A replaceable labelling field at the bottom of the remote control provides a clear overview of which functions or devices have been assigned to the buttons. The Homematic IP Remote Control is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and offers four individually configurable pairs of buttons for universal use. Thus, wirelessly connected Homematic IP devices can be controlled comfortably and quickly, if the smartphone is currently out of reach. In addition to basic features like switching or dimming of single lamps, several scenario functions can be executed at the same time with only one button-press. For example, after pressing a push-button the floor lamp and the power supply of the home cinema system are switched on while the ceiling light is dimmed.
