EASY TO RETROFIT The Contact Interface allows retrofitting of elements such as conventional floating pushbuttons or switches with six buttons to enable intelligent and individual wireless control. SMART INTEGRATION & UNIVERSAL USE With the Contact Interface, any potential-free switches, pushbuttons or contacts can be easily integrated into the Homematic IP system, e.g. to implement the following functions: Switches: Switch lights on and off Pushbuttons: Dim lights or raise and lower shutters Contacts for monitoring windows and doors: Reduce temperature when ventilating, trigger an alarm, lock/unlock door lock drive SIMPLE INSTALLATION No mains connection is required thanks to battery operation. The very flat design allows the Contact Interface to be installed in standard flush-mounted boxes - and in the case of deep boxes also behind an already installed switch insert.
