Overview
Control lighting, roller shutters, blinds and view weather and system data centrally via an elegant wall-mounted glass touchscreen. The HmIP-WGD combines intuitive touch operation with a contact-free Quick Action and a proximity sensor for convenient local control of a smart building.

Quick Action (contact-free)
Trigger a preconfigured action without touching the screen (for example, wave your hand in front of the display to switch on lights when entering a room). This enables fast, hygienic and intuitive interactions at entrances or high-traffic areas.

Custom layout
Configure up to six pages and arrange functions into groups, scenarios or quick actions. Each page can be divided into 1, 2 or 4 tiles to prioritise the most relevant controls for each zone or room.

Weather & sensor data
The display shows current weather information and environmental values (temperature, humidity, weather status) supplied by outdoor sensors or the Homematic IP system to support operational decisions at a glance.

Applications / Examples
Central control of individual devices, groups, scenes and automations from one wall-mounted point. Typical uses include combined lighting and shading scenes, rapid activation of presence-based functions and local triggering of building automations.
