Material
Ceramic washbasins are made from a blend of natural raw materials, such as clay and kaolin, and finely ground quartz and feldspar. Ceramic is a highly resistant, durable material also known for its exceptional colourfastness even after prolonged exposure to light.

Care and maintenance
For proper cleaning and care of Ideagroup ceramic washbasins, use a cotton cloth or soft sponge and soapy water or common non-abrasive cleaners (for example a multi-purpose degreaser), taking care to rinse well. Do not use abrasive detergents, scouring pads, acetone, trichloroethylene or strong acids or bases. Do not cut objects directly on the ceramic surface. Prolonged contact with heat sources (e.g. burning cigarettes) or with substances such as ink, make-up and hair dyes may stain the surface.

Installation
To prevent surface corrosion, use only neutral, transparent, non-acetic silicones during installation.
