Natural marble

Material
Natural marble is a calcareous rock composed mainly of calcium carbonates with silicates, iron and other minerals. Variations in colour, veining or compactness are intrinsic to the material and not defects.

Care and maintenance
Clean with a cloth dampened with water. For acid stains apply a thin layer of FILAKRISTAL and remove with a sponge after it dries. For hard water deposits use POLISH (marble conditioner). Do not use abrasive pads or aggressive solvents such as trichloroethylene or acetone. Avoid contact with hot objects and cigarette burns.

Installation
Use neutral, transparent, non-acetic silicones for correct installation to prevent surface corrosion.
