JACKODUR® grooved close-tolerance board (FTR) In the production of sandwich elements with bonding techniques, the core material should have surface grooves for perfect adhesion. In this way the adhesive applied can spread better over the surfaces to be bonded, and any excess adhesive will run off along the grooves. Additionally, they prevent blistering in the sandwich element as a result of air entrapment and uneven bonding. For these types of applications, we have developed the product variant JACKODUR® grooved close-tolerance board (FTR). The grooves run along both sides of the board at 40-mm intervals and have an optimised depth and breadth of 2 mm.
