Cold bridge-free, thermally insulated smoke ventilator The innovative twin flap system employed by Kingspan's Duo Therma product make it ideally suited for buildings which have stringent requirements for air sealing and thermal and/or acoustic insulation, as well as for structures with high moisture levels. A thermally insulated alternative is also offered, which will minimize the formation of condensation, and the product can also be supplied uninsulated, translucent, and with a single flap instead of two. Constructed from tempered aluminium Sea water and corrosion resistant AIMg3 Can supply powder coated in any RAL colour Can be designed to incorporate 44dB noise-damping flaps, cold bridge-free base and flaps or with glass infill panels Base and flanges: Sea water and corrosion-resistant EN AW 5754 (AlMg3) sheet aluminium is used in Duo Therma AT models; Duo Therma TG models are made of EN AW 6060 (AlMgSi0,5) extruded, thermally broken profile sections. Sealing: All-round, using coated EPDM rubbers, which prevent freezing while providing a high level of airtightness. Hinges: Stainless steel. Flaps: With or without thermal separator. Choice of: uninsulated or mineral wool-insulated aluminium flap, 16 mm transparent multi-wall polycarbonate filler, single safety glass, insulated safety glass, or a high quality acoustically insulated flap. Finishing: Standard mill finished or coated in a standard RAL colour.
