is a Styrofoam extruded polystyrene foam rigid board insulation with shiplap edges. It is designed for use in walls and attics of new and retrofit applications. Easy to handle, cut and install. It is available in several thicknesses for desired R-value application. SPECIFICATIONS When only wall cavities are insulated, one quarter of the wall surface is left uninsulated. That’s because wood framing (studs, window frames, door frames and headers) make up 25% of the wall surface in typical wood frame construction. When installed directly over studs, OSB or other non-insulating sheathing, rigid foam insulation provides continuous coverage and dramatically reduces the potential for condensation creating moisture problems inside the wall.
