PROPERTIES The centrifugal placement of the fiberglass grants ODE Starflex Prefabricated Pipes high mechanical strength and resistance against vibration. No exothermic reaction was observed when assayed at temperatures above the temperature of use. The heat transfer factor of the prefabricated pipe slightly varies at temperature increase. No deformation and loss of volume at high temperatures. Non-hygroscopic and non-capillary. Does not deteriorate, spoil and rust over time. The prefabricated glass wool pipes with aluminum foil coating used in the insulation of cold pipes prevent condensation. BENEFITS The vertical cut on one side facilitates coating of the pipes to be insulated and ensures rapid insulation of the long pipelines. Thanks to its high density, other materials to be wrapped around will not result in the loss of pipe wall thickness. The self-adhesive tape saves time, material and workmanship in aluminum foil coating applications. ODE Starflex Prefabricated Pipes do not generate wastage and each component is used.
